The SALT Two-Stroke Motorcycle

Hand built in Brisbane for a true Australian riding experience

In building the ultimate two-stroke, light-weight corner carver, Salt Motorcycles begins each build with the enduro legend – a brand new KTM 300 EXC TPI.

The motorcycle is stripped down, and almost every component is modified, to produce a beautifully handcrafted ultra-lightweight road bike.

The motorcycle is then handed to Australian and British motorcycle road race champion, and former World Championship rider Paul Lewis, to ensure the Salt Two-Stroke is more than a pretty face on the road.

Every person within Salt Motorcycles, from track champion to b-road cruiser, is passionate about riding, and our motorcycles are a direct reflection of that.

Our motorcycles, using modern engineering and design, reintroduce riders to the pure analogue feel of motorcycling. Our bikes are about the rider, the motorcycle, and the road. They are designed to be an authentic expression of why we ride.

On Friday the 20th October 2017, production ceased on Australia’s last automotive production line in Adelaide, and the Salt Motorcycle story began. Purchasing specialised equipment from Holden’s production line, Salt Motorcycles began its journey in designing and building Australian made motorcycles, for Australia’s passionate riders.
