Kobbers Kruiser Klub – Sydney & Brisbane

For Riders of all cruisers. We are all enthusiasts for a similar style of bike and riding. The club’s been around for over 20 years and has members spread across the east coast of Australia.

We encourage male and female riders of all levels of ability and experience. We’re a group of loyal and friendly members from all walks of life who just want to have fun and enjoy riding our bikes with like-minded people.

Kobbers have regularly scheduled rides or activities and generally run a 6-month ride calendar which helps busy people to plan ahead.

We have a number of meeting points in each state with experienced Ride Coordinators who organize and lead each ride to a wide variety of destinations. Most day rides will cover anywhere from 200-400kms depending on the destination, and we allow sufficient time for ‘bum breaks’ and a chat over lunch.

We also do social activities like BBQ and dinner rides, weekends away, and, from time to time, longer trips where we meet up with interstate colleagues. Every year in October we hold our National AGM at Sawtell in Northern NSW and members come from all over Australia for one big party!

The word kobbers in colloquial terms means ‘mates’, and so we make a point of riding together and looking out for each other to make sure we all reach our destination safely. Whilst some Kobbers do have pretty ‘bad ass’ bikes, none of us have the bad attitudes.

If you ride a cruiser, you are invited to join us for a ride and meet some of our members.

APPLICATION PROCESS

If you are interested in membership of Kobbers Kruiser Klub, we ask you to attend 4 rides and 2 club meetings. This provides an opportunity for both parties to determine if we are the club for you.

To be eligible for membership of Kobbers Kruiser Klub you must ride a cruiser motorcycle and have a valid and current motorcycle licence.

Once you have participated in 4 rides and attended 2 meetings, you are welcome to apply for membership of Kobbers Kruiser Klub. We invite you to attend the next monthly meeting where your membership application will be processed and if accepted, you will be provided with the club patch and insignia and welcomed to the club.

There are two levels of membership – a full Member (rider) and Associate Member (non-rider). The cost of new membership for a full Member is $90 and Associate Member is $80. Annual renewals are $40 and $30 respectively.

MEMBERSHIP OBLIGATIONS

To maintain your membership with Kobbers Kruiser Klub, you are required to:

Attend a minimum 6 rides and 4 meetings per year.
Wear the club patch and insignia with pride on an approved vest at all club rides and events.
Have legal access to an approved cruiser motorcycle and posess a valid and current motorbike licence.
Abide by the club Rules & Constitution at all times and be responsible for your actions.
