Bikers United Against Child Abuse

As a Child Protection Motivated Advocates, We will bring to you very important strategies that we find valuable in letting you know the reality of child abuse and grooming and how to identify the processes used in ways to to gain access to vulnerable children.

BUACA became a registered charity in 2008 when we were at our peak of advocacy. Due to our growth we had chapters and members volunteers in all states of Australia. As with most great ideas, there is always the danger of predators who are more than willing to destroy the hard work we do supporting children and their families going as far to stalk our members or volunteers knowing they stand tall between predator and child.

BUACA founded in 2001 when we were disappointed in knowing many influential child sexual abuse news stories showed serious lack of attention to leniency giving perpetrators short or no correctional sentence at all. BUACA has also very much been subject to serious stalking and bias police attention. We understand our presence intimidates those that seek to befriend our children for grooming.

My name is Pete Geary, I work closely with members of our organization, that are more that willing to support the many families that need support when a child discloses Child Abuse….

Ben our Desert Chapter president is a social worker and regularly works with families from remote Australia and understands the protocols to follow when advocating in areas where abuse though is looked down upon, there are a serious lack of support teams to deal with children having to live in communities that just don’t have the resources to act on all complaints or investigations. We need to support all communities and to help those that live in remote communities any help or assistance carrying their calls for help all over Australia….
When BUACA attends court cases where a family has asked for BUACA to be present, we do so with diligence knowing our presence will be intimidating to the accused and their families. Quite a few court cases we have attended showed the family were alone in the court where the accused had family and friends to rely on support. BUACA abides by all rules of the court and the directions given by the judge as if we are allowed to wear our BUACA support shirts to be allowed in the court, I believe we only ever had one instance to where we were asked to turn our shirts inside out, and we did….

Our mission is to make our communities aware of our presence, our ability to be on standby no matter what time of day for those that seek assistance.
