All our motorcycles are touring machines most suited to asphalt/sealed road riding and driving. Unlike other operators, we can guarantee your bike hasn’t been off-road, and we’ll prep her up to your needs ready for your adventure. But that doesn’t mean you can’t explore New Zealand’s fabulous back-roads which are public roads but often unsealed. We’ll recommend the best motorcycle for this, hire your vehicle with us and you’re in safe hands.

Hire your vehicle from our main base near Christchurch, South Island, gateway to the fabulous Southern Alps. Drop off your vehicle in Christchurch, or for a one-way fee you can drop her off in Queenstown or Auckland.

South Pacific Motorcycle Services is a family business based in Mandeville, North Canterbury, not far from Rangiora and Kaiapoi. After the Covid-19 pandemic hit it seemed natural to help out our local motorcycle community by offering the services of our superb qualified mechanics, and since then we haven’t looked back.

We service and repair all makes and models of motorbikes and scooters. Our pricing is competitive and if you live north of the Waimakariri River, now you don’t have to travel into Christchurch City to get your bike fixed up! Whether your ride is a 50cc moped or a Honda Goldwing, an old classic or a brand new BMW, give us a call and let’s have a chat about what we can do to help get her back on the road.

Full Workshop

Location
The Workshop’s based in Mandeville. We’re around 10kms from the SH1 Motorway just off Tram Road, just around the corner from the Mandeville Village shops. We welcome all Christchurch and North Canterbury business but if you live near Rangiora, Kaiapoi, Ohoka, Oxford, Clarkville, Woodend, Pegasus or Amberley, we’re definitely your local service guys.

Hours
Our office hours are 9-4pm Monday to Friday and 9-12 Saturday, and can often drop off or collect your bike out of hours as we run our business from home. Simply give us a call and we’ll do our very best to accommodate you.

Collection/Return Service
If your bike is unroadworthy or you’re too busy, we offer a collection and return service for a small fee.

Who Are We?
All work is carried out by our own qualified mechanics in our fully equipped workshop. We’re MTA approved and an Inspecting Organisation with Waka Kotahi (NZTA). Our mechanics are approved Vehicle Inspectors, so we can do your WOF (Warrant of Fitness) for you. We can also carry out WOFs on Light Trailers. We can help you with any type of bike, whether its a road tourer, a farm bike, an adventure bike or a Classic. Give us a call and let’s have a chat about what we can do to help.
